The Big Green machine. You were the cat's ass if you had one.

The Big Wheel wasn't far behind. The spin out lever was worn out on mine.

Yes, I rocked one of these in my childhood. I even sought to modify mine by unscrewing and removing the front fender. Pebbbles in the face be damned, it looked cool. I recall I had a rather spectacular (for a 10 yr. old kid) rollover when a powerslide sent the rear wheels off the sidewalk into a grassy patch.

I worked at a toy store in high school and found three of the Green Machines in the back room. When I saw the huge price tag I asked the manager why they weren't on the floor. He said that nobody would buy them because of how much they cost. I challenged him.

So I put one together, took it outside in the parking lot and started to "demonstrate". Sold all three (two boxed up, built one for the customer though, and the demo one at a slight discount). Absolute blast.
